AMERIKA: a notebook in three parts
A woman in search of her father discovers not only herself, but a nation at a spiritual crossroads.

Synopsis

Shot in a surrealist style using flashbacks, dreams and existential humor, “AMERIKA: a notebook in three parts” daringly questions traditional and contemporary views of America’s history and cultural identity through the eyes of Kat, a young Japanese woman traveling across the country in search of her long-lost father. But when she pairs up with a drifter named Jack, strange things start to happen as they unearth mystifying elements from America’s past, and in particular, a sacred water jug. Soon Kat and Jack find themselves at the crossroads of a nation’s destiny. In one direction lies a spiritual awakening. In the other, apocalypse.
