YONDER
"Yonder" follows the story of a man lost in the labyrinthine world of his dreams. It is there that he encounters his spiritual double and embarks on the quest to re-create his identity. In the same spirit in which "Yonder" was created, and in its evocation of the universal theme of identity, we encourage viewers to watch "Yonder" as a ritualized act of self-discovery. We also invite viewers to participate in co-authoring the film's narrative, which has no fixed structure or meaning. The nine chapters can be treated like puzzle pieces, or single stanzas of a poem, that can be re-arranged into unique combinations. Watch it backwards, skip around, or repeat chapters. The point of interactive cinema is to find and create the messages in the film that make sense to you, the story's co-creator.
